Representatives from the University of Sunderland visited Tashkent as part of an international engagement tour to strengthen academic cooperation.

On January 21, staff from the Business and Tourism Development Unit and the International Affairs Department introduced the Hazrati Imom Complex to Dr. James Scott, Academic Director for Transnational Education, and Dr. James Johnson, Global Partnership Leader for Transnational Education – School of Business, Management & Tourism.

The delegation also visited Tashkent City Mall, showcasing the capital’s modern development and growing tourism infrastructure.

The visit fostered cultural exchange and opened new opportunities for collaboration in education, business, and tourism between Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom.
