On March 30, Halal network meeting dedicated to the development and global prospects of halal tourism was held at the Farovon Hotel. The conference featured distinguished guests from Halal Travel Network — Hafsa Gaher, Jo McPherson and Joanna Marsh.

The organization provides research, consultancy, and educational support while connecting industry stakeholders to build a sustainable and globally competitive halal travel ecosystem.
The event was attended by the Director of the Tourism Cluster at MDIST— Asghar Mahmood Sufyan, who represented the institute and highlighted the importance of integrating education with industry needs, as well as training qualified professionals in line with international halal standards.
