On November 18 Business and Tourism Development Unit of the Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent carried out an educational and cultural visit to the historic Zangiota Complex, one of Uzbekistan’s most significant spiritual heritage sites.

The visit aimed to deepen staff understanding of the country’s religious tourism potential and to explore how heritage sites contribute to the development of cultural and pilgrimage tourism. During the tour, the MDIST team familiarized themselves with the complex’s architectural features, visitor infrastructure, and ongoing preservation efforts.

This initiative aligns with MDIST’s broader mission to support tourism sector development, strengthen cultural awareness, and enhance cooperation with key heritage destinations across Uzbekistan.
