A seminar-training was held at the Bostanliq Tourism and Cultural Heritage Technical School of Tashkent Region

On January 27 of the current year, a seminar-training was held at the Bostanliq Tourism and Cultural Heritage Technical School of Tashkent Region on the topic “Pilgrimage Tourism and Marketing in It,” as well as on the Amplify startup project. The event was conducted with the participation of staff members of the Innovative Center for Business and Tourism Development of the Singapore Institute of Management Development in Tashkent and a 3rd-year student of the “Business and Financial Management” program, Oybek Hamidullaev.

The seminar-training was attended by students of the technical school as well as young people working in a number of private guest houses in the Bostanliq district.

As a result of the seminar-training, participants gained:

- knowledge of real market demands in the field of pilgrimage tourism;
- an understanding of the importance of marketing in tourism;
- basic skills in developing and presenting new startup projects.

The seminar-training and roundtable discussion were held in a question-and-answer format, during which participants received answers to many of their questions. At the conclusion of the event, it was emphasized that such practical seminar-trainings play an important role in the professional development of young people and in further advancing the tourism sector in the region.
