Parkent district - a grape and fruit paradise, a favorite vacation place for residents of Tashkent, is located just 50-60 km from the capital of Uzbekistan - the city of Tashkent.

The most popular vacation place is the suburbs of the Sukok village. Thousands of people come here to enjoy the taste of the famous Sukok`s brand- “Mador somsa” as well as Sukok`s moist kebabs. In the spring, thousands of people come here to admire the endless blooming fields of poppies, children fly kites from the surrounding hills. Another attraction point of the region is the mysterious karstic “Vokluz” (large spring, chasma), the path to which runs through the only shady pine forest in the Tashkent region.
The main treasure of the region is its vineyards, laid out on the slopes of the foothills of the Chatkal ridge on an area of ​​more than 3 thousand hectares. The unique natural conditions make it possible to grow here not only table grape varieties (black and white Kishmish, Khusaini, Rizamat, Toifi), but also wine grapes. Farmers cultivate such grape varieties as Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Muscat, Saperavi, Riesling, Soyaki, Kuldzhinsky. On the basis of these vineyards operates the large producer Cháteau Hamkor, where tourists can watch and taste the wine making process.

The picturesque canyon on the Bashkyzylsay river near the village of Nevich is no less popular with tourists.

Several caves hid in one of the gorges near the village of Zarkent. The largest of them (Zarkentskaya) goes 102 meters deep and ends with a stone blockage, into which a stream goes. It is possible that this stream, having passed more than 5 km underground, comes to the surface in the holy spring Zarkent-ota.

Another popular place, Kumyshkan, cannot be ignored. Here tourists enjoy picturesque mountain landscapes, visit the unique Heliocomplex (link), the original Hazrat Ali Buva mosque and rest in sanatoriums, boarding houses, hotels. From here, tourists can go to the valley of the Aksakata and Nurekat rivers, climb the peaks of Surenata (2042 m), the beautiful two-headed dominant peak of the region - Kyzylnur (3289 m.)
